Westmorland and Furness ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistants) Impact Survey 2025 (for ELSAs)
Overview
This survey is for ELSAs to complete.
The ELSA course has been running in Westmorland and Furness, and previously Cumbria, since spring 2022. ELSAs are Emotional Literacy Support Assistants. They are teaching assistants who have had special training from Educational Psychologists to support the emotional development of children and young people in school. ELSAs have regular professional supervision from educational psychologists to help them in their work. We would like to evaluate the impact of the ELSA training to help inform future delivery of the training and identify any gaps in the current training programme.
Why your views matter
You have been asked to complete this questionnaire as you or a member/members of your school staff have completed the ELSA training and can therefore help to evaluate the impact of the training.
