What Happens Next
An independent examiner will consider whether the Morland Neighbourhood Plan meets the legal requirements for neighbourhood plans. If the plan successfully passes examination a referendum will take place in Morland Parish to decide whether it should be made (adopted) by Westmorland and Furness Council. If more than 50% of voters at the referendum vote 'Yes' the Plan will become part of the development plan for the area and will be used alongside other planning policies when determining planning applications.
