Community Call for 20mph speed limits Consultation

Overview

Parish and Town Councils have provisionally secured funding through Westmorland and Furness Council to reduce the speed limit in 26 communities to 20mph, to promote safer roads, reduce vehicle noise and enhance the environment for more walking and cycling.

This is your chance to have your say on the introduction of lower speed limits and to shape designs for the schemes. Schemes will only be introduced if community support can be further demonstrated, therefore it is essential feedback is provided.

The consultation will take under 5 minutes to complete.
