Consultation on a new playground in Kirkby Stephen

Closed 15 May 2024

Opened 1 May 2024

Overview

Westmorland and Furness Council, working alongside Kirkby Stephen Town Council and the Cricket Club would like to develop a new playground on the ground adjacent to the cricket pitch.

We would like to create an exciting and challenging play experience for children of all abilities up to the age of 14. This would be a destination playground where children and their families could spend the day enjoying the playground, walks along the river and the incredible views from this location.

We would like to know your views on how we can make this a great experience for local residents and visitors to the town.
