Langwathby school transport consultation

Overview

We currently provide a passenger assistant on each of the home to school transport routes which serve Langwathby Church of England (C of E) Primary School. 

The routes are:

• T1252 serving Gamblesby, Melmerby and Ousby
• T1255 serving Glassonby, Hunsonby, Little Salkeld and Winskill

The Council is extending the consultation dates for the  current Langwathby school transport consultation

The Council have taken the decision to extend the consultation period until 28 November 2025. This is to ensure there is sufficient time to review all pertinent information and respond to all queries raised.

Following the closure of the consultation, the final decision will be made by the Corporate Director Children’s Services and Cabinet Member for Children’s Services no later than the end of January 2026.
